Three years ago, Cohen went even further, publishing an unassuming volume of snapshots entitled Dangerous Women (Pittsburgh: Spaces Corners, 2013. Marquand Library N7433.4.C375 C64 2013). Not only can you enjoy images from his personal collection but slipped into the middle of each book, in a tiny glassine envelope, is an individual photograph. Next month, the eclectic journal Esopus (Marquand NX460.E86Q) will include over 100 anonymous and vernacular photographs from Cohen’s collection.
